Milagu Rasam
To serve 4 persons
| Ingredients | Quantity |

| Tomatoes chopped | 2 nos |
| Tamarind pulp | 3 tbsp |
| Garlic crushed | 2 cloves |
| Oil | 2 tbsp |
| Melam Milagu Rasam Masala | 1 ½ – 2 tbsp |
| Mustard seed | ½ tsp |
| Curry leaves | 1 sprig |
| Red chilli (whole) | 2 nos |
| Coriander leaves | 1 tbsp |
| Water | 1 litre |
| Salt | To taste |
Cooking method:
- Heat oil in a pan and allow the mustard seeds to splutter.
- Add red chilli, curry leaves and sauté well.
- Add crushed garlic and sauté till brown.
- Add Melam Milagu Rasam Masala, chopped tomatoes and fry until it is mashed.
- Add tamarind pulp and mix well.
- Add water, required salt and simmer for sometime.
- Don’t boil the rasam.
- Add coriander leaves and close with lid.
